Labor Day Blood Drive Bust

September 1, 2003

Albany-- Red Cross workers aren't laboring much at the annual Labor Day blood drive.

That's because only a handful of people have come to the Donor Center on Dawson Road to give blood. But, there's still time to donate.

Joy Davis says, "Well it has been a little slow so far but I realize people are in the middle of their holiday gatherings I just hope people will find time this afternoon to come in. We will be here until seven o'clock tonight."

Each donor gets a free t-shirt and a chance to win tickets to a Thasher Hockey Game in Atlanta.
