Americus-- A Habitat for Humanity public relations employee is charged with computer pornography and child exploitation.

Investigators say 39-year-old Carl Stanley Thaxton sent sexually explicit e-mails to a law enforcement agent in Florida, who was posing as a 15-year-old girl. They had been communicating since August when they met in an Internet chatroom and he is said to have e-mailed nude pictures.

The FBI has confiscated two home computers and one computer at Habitat for Humanity International, where he is employed.

Thaxton was released from the Sumter County Jail on $3,000 bond.
