Albany -- Turns out there were actually three robbers at the Albany Subway the other night when one of them got shot. An Albany Police Officer shot one of the armed robbers when he ran out of Subway just before one a.m. Wednesday.
18 year old Patrick Fairbanks survived the gunshot wound to the chest but remains hospitalized. 17 year Steven Williams is charged as well.
And now, a Subway employee says there were three men wearing masks, not just two. They jumped over the front counter, waving pistols and threatening the three female employees. The robbers took the money from the cash register, and stole the employees purses.
Police haven't caught the third suspect and they're trying to figure out if this holdup is connected with a string of armed robberies last week.
Three young black men wearing masks robbed the Ramada Limited and the home of a woman on Lansing Drive.
