Moultrie- At 14, Moultrie's Hannah Moore is one of the top junior divers in the nation.
Next week, Moore will find out where she stands against the top junior divers in North and South America.
The freshman at Colquitt County High School will represent the United States at the junior Pan-Am games next week in Belem, Brazil.
Moore is one three female divers who will be competing in the 14-15 age division and but the only U.S. diver who will compete in all three events- the one-meter, three-meter and platform.
This is Hannah's first international competition and she hopes the experience will help her make the national team next year when she moves up to the senior divsion.
Hannah Moore said "I think that diving against the different people from the different countries will help me next year when I go to seniors because I have never dove against any of those people."
Coach Ron Piemonte said "For her to break out of the national scene and to get into the international scene is going to be a great experience for her because she is going to find out she is more ready for it than she thinks."
One thing that should help Hannah in her first international meet is that her coach Ron Piemonte will be one of the coaches for the U.S. team at the junior Pan-Am games.
