Albany -- Two Albany men were robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday morning, after their car was rammed. It happened  at North Central Street and East Third Avenue just before three AM.

Shaon Mallory and Jonathan Covin say they were turning onto Third, when a Black Toyota Forerunner rammed their car. The Toyota driver jumped out and pointed a pistol at the two men, and demanded money. But before taking anything from the two, the robber ran away, abandoning the car he was driving.

Mallory and Covin were not injured. Investigators describe the robber as a black man with dreadlocks, 5 foot 7 inches tall, weighing 135 pounds.
