Dougherty County - A southwest Georgia group played in the dirt today to add some bloom to a Habitat house.

The Albany Garden Club has been working on a house off Newton Road. The "Plant Four Humanity" project is a nationwide program where garden club members landscape yards of Habitat homes.

Southwestern Magnolia District members say they have had a lot of help from the community. Habitat Chairman,Virginia Patten, says, "When we say we're working for Humanity they open their hearts and share with us."

Home Depot, Mossy Oak Garden Center and ABC Nurseries donated supplies. The grass is expected to be added Wednesday.

The house will be dedicated to Bertha Callaway and her three teenage children on August 23rd.
