Albany - A new home for recovering alcoholics and drug addicts in Albany is running smoothly. The New Leaf Transitional home opened last month. The home is located in the Economy Suites hotel on West Oglethorpe Boulevard.

Recovering addicts live in the center while looking for jobs and working their way back into society. Gina Everhart is new to the home and she says, "So far everything's great we're already hooked up with job interviews and meetings and we've just been in since last night."

The Center hosts A-A and N-A classes for the residents, and will soon offer classes on interviewing for jobs.
