Fitzgerald- 46 year old Randal Hiers of Waycross was an employee of Mobile Repair Car Cleaning.

He was part of a crew that had been cleaning out a railcar that once hauled molten sulfur. When the cleaning solution came in contact with the sulfur it produced sulfide gas and Heirs was overcome by the fumes.

Occupational Safety and Hazard Administration officials are still investigating the incident.
