Florence, SC- The Lee County All-Stars won their first game at the Dixie Youth Baseball 11-12 year old World Series.

The Georgia State champions beat Goodlettsville, Tennessee 5-3 Monday at Florence's Freedom Park.

Lee County plays either Florida or Mississippi Tuesday night at 8:00 p.m.

This is the second straight year Lee County has sent an all-star team to the DYB Major World Series.

Lee County has won DYB World Series titles in 1994 and 1998.
