Dawson-- Mayor Robert Albritten is back in the news, but this time it's not because he's in trouble. It's because he won big in the Georgia lottery.

Albritten won a half-million dollars in the Georgia Lottery 10th anniversary scratch-off game Monday.

We don't know where he bought the winning ticket and he won't talk to us, but the Georgia Lottery headquarters in Atlanta confirms Albritten won.

Albritten, who's been arrested several times for DUI, goes on trial in September on numerous forgery and insurance fraud charges. Albritten also runs a funeral home in Dawson.
