Man accused of killing migrant worker

August 4, 2003

Lenox - A man is arrested for killing a migrant worker and another man is still on the run.

Twenty-four-year-old Christopher Bernard Warren is charged with the murder of 37-year-old Alberto Ramirez Valazquez. Agents are still looking for Warren's friend, 23-year-old James Deon Porter.

Warren and Porter are accused of shooting Valazquez inside a Lenox mobile home where seven other migrant workers were sleeping.

They could be connected with a rash of migrant burglaries around southwest Georgia. If you have any information, call the Cook County Sheriff's office.
