Albany -- An Albany State University student is suing her professor for sexual abuse. The female student filed suit against Dr. Olatunde Okediji July 22nd.

The suit claims that the Biology Professor flew her to Maryland for a scientific conference. There she says the Professor committed sexual battery on her. The complaint asks for damage awards for her "wounded feelings and emotional upset."

Dr. Okediji has taught at Albany State for 11 years. University officials say they have not seen the suit yet, and have taken no action toward the Professor.
