Albany - Praise dances, bag races, and jolly jumpers were just some of the events going on at Cornerstone Church's first annual Community day on Saturday.

"We just out today trying to reach the community by being a blessing to them and to help draw people more closer to the Kingdom of God right now," says Pastor Clifford Hill.

Gillionville Baptist Church also participated in community day. Associate Pastor Roy Cook says, "We want to be a positive source in the community. Help out with children, plan games for them activities for them. We have a lot for young adults as well."

Charlotta Soilberry attended Community Day. She says, "We are telling the community that we can still have fun and still praise the Lord at the same time."

Businesses in the community donated food and drinks for the event.
