Rams picked second in SIAC

Atlanta- The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference holding its pre-season media day in Atlanta.

Where the SIAC coaches have put the bullseye on the backs of Tuskegee.

The Golden Tigers are the pre-season pick to win another conference title.

Albany State received two first place votes are picked to finish second.

The Rams though were first in players picked to the all-conference teams with 11 Albany State players named to the first and second teams.

Offensive lineman Bryone Doomes from Moultrie, Rodney Magwood, receiver Clinton Rafe, defensive end Walter Curry, cornerback Chris Culbert and safey William Felton from Oglethorpe were all first team all-SIAC selections by the coaches.

Free safety Chris Henderson from Cairo, defensive lineman Jarvis Davis, offensive lineman Frank Wilson, running back Brian Thomas and punter Adrian Arango were all second team selections as was Tuskegee quarterback Terrence Jones who played at Colquitt County.

Albany State will being practice on August 7th and opens the season at Valdosta State on August 30th.
