Albany- The first batch of checks under the Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act were sent out Friday.
Tax preparers say many of their clients will be getting checks in the mail. $400 per child will be given back to parents who made more than $26,000 last year, making nearly 25 million American parents happier.
759,000 Georgia parents will receive tax credit checks and just in time for back-to-school.
