Albany-- An international coffee company is opening two stores in Albany. Starbuck's on Meredyth Drive will be open for business August 18th. Phoebe Putney Hospital partially owns the 1,400 square foot cafe and the profits will be donated to the hospital's Community Visions Program.

Food Services Director Rick Bishop says, "Everytime someone goes out and buys a cup of coffee, pastry or biscotti they are going to be contributing money and is put back to Albany Georgia which is very exciting because we help so many organizations throughout the community."

The program supports charities like the American Cancer Society. A second Starbuck's store is in the planning stages and will open inside the main hospital next year.
