Boston - A South Georgia family will soon be reunited with a loved one.

Boston native Chuck Maxwell was deployed to Kuwait in January. When he left, he didn't know when he would return, but today, his family and girlfriend will finally get to see him again.

They say they've missed Chuck, but they are proud of him. Sister Ashley Bengston says, " we're all excited about Chuck coming home, and we've been waiting patiently. The calls have been sporadic coming in and we're all just ready to see him." Julia Hopkins, Chuck's girlfriend says it's been "Long, very long. They kept telling us they were coming home and they kept changing the date, so I'm just ready to see him tonight."

They say Chuck plans on relaxing and taking things easy when he gets back.
