Blakely man surrenders

July 17, 2003

Albany-- A Blakely man surrenders this morning after shooting up his ex-girlfriend's apartment.

Investigators say 30-year-old Claude B. Caesar Junior faces five counts of aggravated assault and other charges, including possession of a fireman by a convicted felon. Monday night, Caesar got into an argument with another man at the Tanglewood apartments. Caesar left the apartments, got a gun and shot at the ex-girlfriend's apartment five times with the residents inside. No one was hurt. Caesar, accompanied by his father, surrendered to investigators about nine Thursday morning.
