British coaches train local soccer players

July 17, 2003

Sylvester - Some South Georgia soccer players are having a cultural experience this week.

The Worth County Recreation department hired two British soccer coaches to teach school aged children some moves in a week-long camp.

The two men are on nine-month work visas in the U.S. The kids aren't just learning new moves, they are also learning differences between the two countries.

The coaches say they are having a wonderful time exploring the United States, and are really enjoying South Georgia.
