Moultrie- The man's body was found hanging by an electrical cord from a tree in a pasture on Deer Run Road Sunday. An autopsy showed he had been shot in the neck and cheek before being hanged.
Investigators think he had been there for at least a week, but they still haven't identified him.
"First of all they do an autopsy on him to see what actually killed him then they'll work on the fingerprints, the dental work, and then possibly DNA," says Captain Hal Suber of the Colquitt County Sheriff's Department.
The victim is a Hispanic male about 5 feet 6 inches and 150 pounds, with long shaggy black hair. He was wearing a plaid shirt, blue jeans and work boots.
