Qualifications begin at 12noon and run through 2pm, with the race starting at 2:30pm. All racers must be licensed with The NBL.
You can register with NBL on Saturday, prior to the qualification. Membership in the NBL is $45 per year which includes entry eligibility at every BMX sanctioned track throughout the United States.
Standard Park admission prices of $2.00 adult (18+) and $1.00 kids and seniors. Two years and under are free. Entry fees to race are $8.00.
To qualify for the Georgia State Series, racers must compete in six local races, three state qualifiers and the State Championship race.
“Besides providing a fun and exciting season, we really want to focus on increasing or local NBL membership and race numbers,” Track Director Bob Griffin said.
“BMX is a great sport for kids of all ages. The NBL has riders as young 4 and young at heart as 62 competing throughout the nation. Locally, we range from 4 to about 18 or 20. We need to be able to grow our numbers not only in those age groups but in the 20 and above group as well.”
