The Albany Post 30 J.V. team recaptured their state title Saturday by defeating Warner Robins 5-2 in the championship game of the GRPA 17 and Under Tournament. It's the second straight year they've won the tournament.
Bobby Youngblood went the distance on the mound for Post 30 J.V., while Greg Schmitz led the way at the plate with two hits.
Albany Post 30 J.V. is next in action this week in the Junior Legion state championship at the Paul Eames Sports Complex. The winner of that tournament advances to regionals.
