Albany- Congressman Mac Collins is hoping to take over Zell Miller's U.S. Senate seat in 2004. He spent Saturday morning in Albany greeting supporters.

The Flovilla native says he plans to represent the working people of Georgia if elected.

"We need to be better stewards of your money as your representatives, yet provide the needs that are needed for the security of this nation, and help those who need help. I'll be that steward; my record shows that," says Collins.

He says his experience in national, state, and local governments gives him a better understanding of how the represent the working class.
