MOULTRIE - Police have identified a five-year-old who was run over by her mother's car as Cheyenne Wickett of Norman Park. She was killed Friday evening on Fourth Street.

Susan Wickett, 24, was taking two children home around 6:30p.m. when the accident occurred. Police are unsure why she allowed Cheyenne to ride on the hood.

Cheyenne was treated by paramedics at the scene and rushed to Colquitt Regional Medical Center where she later died from massive head trauma. As is normal, an autopsy was performed since Cheyenne was a minor.

Wickett's one-year-old son was also in the car, as well as two other children. None were injured.

Investigators plan to turn over the evidence to the District Attorney for possible criminal prosecution. She could face vehicular manslaughter charges as well as wreckless endangerment of a child, among other charges.
