Dougherty County - Despite a solid lead, police haven't caught the man who robbed an Albany convenience store at gunpoint nine days ago. The man held up the Express Lane food Mart on Newton Road on June 28th.
Dougherty County police hoped a car tag number given by a witness to the armed robbery would lead them to the suspect. But it turns out the getaway car was stolen earlier that week. Police are still working other leads, but no one was been arrested yet.
