Former Lowndes High star Tim Drew will make his second National League start for the Montreal Expos Sunday afternoon against the Atlanta Braves.
Drew, a former number one draft pick of the Cleveland Indians, is the younger brother of St. Louis outfielder J.D. Drew.
Tim Drew (2-2, 6.79 lifetime record and era) made nine starts for the Cleveland Indians in 2000 and 2001 before being traded last summer in the deal that sent pitcher Bartolo Colon to Montreal last summer.
The Expos re-called Tim Drew from their AAA team in Edmonton on June 26th where he was 3-8 with 7.50 earned run average.
Drew pitched a scoreless 9th inning Wednesday night in the Expos 11-4 win over the New York Mets.
The Braves are scheduled to start Mike Hampton in the fourth game of the series at Turner Field.
Sunday's game will start at 1:05 p.m. in Atlanta.
