Free Flags at Chehaw Park

July 4, 2003

Albany - Lots of people were out celebrating the fourth at Chehaw Park today. The first 1,000 visitors to the wild animal park at Chehaw received a free United States flag.

Alisha and Amber Burnette came out to see the animals and to avoid big crowds and loud noises. "It's nice," Alisha says, "She likes to be outside and there's plenty of trees and  she likes to see the animals. So, it's a nice day for us."

Peacocks and alligators are just some of the animals you can see at Chehaw park.
