Albany - There's a new way to cool off in Albany. The Carver Pool has reopened with a renovated pool and a spray park. The spray park offers five tumble buckets, tulip jets and a super soaker.
Virgina Scalla is the Aquatics Supervisor for the Recreation department, and she says she is very excited the pool is opening. "This is one of the outstanding pools in this area...in Southwest Georgia," Scalla says.
Ages 4 and up are welcome to swim in the pool. Registration is free, but there is a $.25 charge for ages 12 and under and a $.50 charge for ages 13 and up.
