Teen charged with major car vandalism

July 2, 2003

Albany--  Carl Gregory Dodge was hit the worst, with 26 cars being vandalized. Some were customer cars being serviced, and some were dealership vehicles.

Police say it was "Boys being mischieveous." Several more are being sought in the crimes. Two cars were also stolen during the crime spree in May. Windows were smashed, radios and C.D. players ripped out of the dashes.

Convertible tops were slashed at Hentschel Motors, and Albany Honda had one car stolen.

The 16 year old East Albany teenager who has been arrested is facing numerous charges.

Investigators are looking for at least two more teenage boys to charge, and seek several more for questioning.
