Albany- Monday morning police tape surrounded the East Broad Avenue Dixie Gas Station, a store plagued by a string of robberies all committed by the same man.

Police believe Mark Anthony Cutter walked into the store with box cutter at 10 AM asking for money from the clerk, but this wasn't his first time. The store was hit last night, last Wednesday and on December 19 all at the same time, 10 o'clock.

"I was sitting outside and the guy went in there and didn't stay for about three minutes and come out and that was all that's what I seen," says Herbie Wells.

Wells says he saw the robber go in, come out with money and cigarettes, and then run behind the beauty shop next door. He's sure it's the same person because he was a witness to the December robbery as well.

"I was standing at the door that time, me and the gas man and we saw him with a knife," he remembers.

Wells says he's good friends with the owners and is glad they weren't hurt in the robberies. Still he says something must be done. "The man needs to be caught," adds Wells.

If you have any information that could help catch him, police want to hear from you.

Cutter served 6 years of a 15 year sentence for an armed robbery in Ocilla. If you can help investigators., call Albany police at 431-2100.
