Albany - The city attorney turns in his 30 day notice, after landing a job in Florida. Al Grieshaber says his last day will be August 4th. On Friday, he got a job as city manager of Sanford, Florida.

"It will be hard to leave Albany, " said Grieshaber. "But, my wife and youngest daughter have family in Orlando, which is just 20 miles away. Also, my oldest daughter Tiffany lives in Tampa. So at least we'll be closer to family."

His last day at work in Albany is August 1st. The position comes with a salary raise for Grieshaber who now earns $91,000 as city attorney. He will now make between $100,000-$130,000 a year in Florida.
