(Duluth-AP) -- Gwinnett County police are looking for the driver of a sport utility vehicle -- one of two vehicles that struck and killed a man.

Michael Hecht of the police department says the man was struck about 9:45 PM yesterday on Satellite Boulevard near Beaver Ruin Road. He says the victim was a passenger in a car and had been counting money. The man got out of the car to retrieve the money after some of it blew out a window. The man was hit twice.

Police say the driver of the Chevy Tahoe did not stop, but the driver of the second car did. Police have one man in custody but say he is not the driver of the SUV, which authorities found a short time later at the Gwinnett Crossing apartments. They say the man arrested is charged with obstruction; they would not elaborate. They have not released the name of the victim.

It's the second fatal hit-and-run in Gwinnett County in less than a week. A Lawrenceville man accused of driving a pickup truck involved in a hit-and-run accident that killed one 14-year-old and injured another turned himself in Friday.
