The air is filled with footballs at Valdosta State University where Blazer head football coach Chris Hatcher is holding his annual quarterback camp.
116 high school quarterbacks from around the Southeast have come to learn the finer points of the position.
Their tutor certainly knows his subject as Hatcher won the Harlon Hill Award in his senior season as quarterback for the Blazers and has coached Daunte Culpepper, Tim Couch and Dusty Bonner as quarterback coach in college.
Chris Hatcher says from this camp covers everything a quarterback needs to know from the moment he takes the football from the center to the time it leaves his hands.
Hatcher said "There is alot of things we throw at them. We have five practice sessions and of course we hope to make them better during those five sessions but what we really focus on is teaching them techniques and drills that they can take back home with them and improve over the course of a summer or over the course of a season.
The Chris Hatcher quarterback camp will end Friday at Valdosta State.
