Fisherman died of heart failure

Cordele- The man who fell out of boat at Lake Blackshear Monday night died of a heart attack. An autopsy showed there was no water in 53-year old Johnny Simmons' lungs.

Sheriff Donnie Haralson says Simmons had heart disease and suffered a massive heart attack. He was dead when he hit the water.

Simmons and Tom Haines were boating just north of the highway 280 bridge when Simmons fell out of the boat.

His body was found by searchers Wednesday morning.
