Supervision best toddler safety tool

June 17, 2003
Albany-Today's tragedy proves it takes only a small amount of water to drown.

In fact, for some small children, only a tablespoon of water could result in drowning. To ensure your child's safety, pools or any standing water should be fenced or have guard rails.

But the most important thing is proper supervision of your child.

Jackson says basic safety precautions should prevent most accidents.
