Mitchell County - A 23-year-old man dies after his work truck veers off the road.
Jonathan Dykes of Alma crashed the pick-up truck in Mitchell County around five Monday morning.
Dykes was driving a Sumter Utilities Incorporated truck west on Georgia 262, 14 miles west of Pelham. His truck overturned and struck a tree.
Dykes was not wearing his seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck was registered to the company in Sumter, South Carolina.
