Albany- Phoebe Putney Health institute and local churches are gearing up a for the third annual Healthy Fathers Healthy Families event.

Saturday they'll host a huge cookout. Father's can bring the family and get free health screenings and information.

"In order for you to stay as a leader in the family you've got to be healthy. So, we encourage men, we do a lot of things well but our health we don't do as good as women do, so we encourage fathers, uncles, brothers, sons to come out for that day and take care of their health," says Phoebe Putney Health Planner, Darrell Sabbs.

The event will be held at Tift Park in Albany Saturday from 10 AM until 2 PM.
