Three South Georgia basketball players signed scholarships on Wednesday.
One is leaving Albany and two are coming to town to play their college basketball.
Westover High's Tiana Pope signed a national letter of intent with Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina.
A standout in basketball and track, Tiana Pope scored over 300 points and had 80 steals in leading the Lady Patriots to the state AAA quarterfinals.
Earlier today, two former Miller County standouts signed scholarships to play for Laura Blackwell's Darton College Lady Cavaliers.
Erica Shaw and Temeka Patterson are just the fourth and fifth Lady Pirates to sign college scholarships.
Erica Shaw was a four year starter and all-region standout for three seasons. She averaged 20 points per game for Miller County.
Point guard Temeka Patterson was a two-time all region pick who never missed a game at Miller County.
