ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
Monroe High Tornadoes have started the season 3-0 for a fifth straight year.
But with their region opener next week, head coach Charles Truitt wants to know if his Tornadoes are as good as their record.
The coach expects to get his answer Friday night.
That is when Monroe leaves town for the first time this season for a game against Brooks County. The Trojans play in the very tough region 1-AA though they had a close win over 1-A Pelham last week at home. Coach Truitt says that score is deceiving because the Trojans were not at full strength last week but they will be tomorrow night against Monroe.
Charles Truitt said. "They are going to have those guys back this week. They have a quarterback who is very, very agile. He is a real good quarterback. So, we are going to have our hands full being able to check them and being able to play against them."
