ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Albany State welcoming the SIAC volleyball teams to town for their annual crossover tournament.Over the next three days, teams from the two division will be playing matches against each other.

Albany State head coach Robert Skinner, who has led the Lady Rams to nine straight conference titles, says the tournament not only allows him to scout the west division teams but also the competition in the east.

Skinner is anxious to see how his team plays after they dropped their conference opener last week at Clark Atlanta.

Robert Skinner "at this particular time we still haven't played any stellar teams in the south region other than Clark-Atlanta. Therefore if we don't realize what we are up against by now, then it could be a long season for us."

The Lady Rams play two matches Friday and face SIAC west division power Kentucky State on Saturday.
