BAINBRIDGE, GA (WALB) – Six teenagers are in jail Wednesday.

Bainbridge authorities say they caught them burglarizing a church.

After a rash of recent church burglaries, Decatur County Sheriff's deputies and Bainbridge Public Safety officers set up surveillance Tuesday night at several churches.

They spotted 17-year olds Walter Rosenborough, Ronnie Williams, and Quitin Gadson, 18-year olds Christopher Nundra and Henry Bush, and a 16-year old enter the Church of God on Independent Street.

All the boys are charged with several counts of burglary.
