LEESBURG, GA (WALB) - The Lee County Trojans 57-14 win over Terrell County gives them their best start in five years.

Dean Fabrizio said. "Our kids have been working really hard in the off season, all summer long they came out lifted weights, did the running, did the conditioning. We've been working hard at practice. The assistant coaches have been doing a great job so I think its just a product of those things"
Lee County has an open week before they play their first region game next Friday night at home against Northside Columbus.
For their impressive performance Ty Bettis presented the Lee County Trojans with this week's WALB Team of the Week Award.
Lee County's offense has already scored 160 points in their first three games.
Head coach Dean Fabrizio says his team's great play in their first three games is the result of hard work over the summer and their attention to detail.
