ALBANY, GA (WALB) –An Albany woman is headed to Australia with Oprah Winfrey and John Travolta.

That's Pauline Abidde, who was in the audience of the Oprah Winfrey Show that aired Monday.

It was taped in Chicago last Thursday. And Oprah announced she was taking the entire audience to Sydney, Australia December 5th through the 15th. Actor John Travolta, who is a licensed pilot, will fly them there.

A long time librarian, Abidde tapes Oprah's show everyday. This was her first time in Oprah's audience, and she was seated on the front row by a producer who wanted her bright green dress behind a guest on the show.

Abidde said "They put a chair there, and that's where Oprah interview him from. So there are several very good shots of me. And it's just amazing. I just can't believe it happened."

Abidde said she received dozens of calls while the show was airing, from people who saw her. Oprah will tape another show during the Australia trip, and Abidde will be in the audience there.
