If you’re out and about today make sure you stay hydrated. Temperatures will feel much warmer than they really are. It's the hottest day of summer and South Georgians are beating the heat by staying cool at Turtle Park. More >>

ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Three suspected burglars were scared away by an Albany homeowner before they could steal anything Monday.

19-year-old Bryan White, 18-year-old Tandrian Holsey and 17-year-old Kavaseay Hines are all charged with burglary.

A little before noon Monday, a woman heard someone tampering with the lock on her front door in the 2800 block of Winterwood Drive.  When the homeowner went to the door, the man said he was at the wrong address and ran away.

She called 911 with a description of the car the other suspects were in.  Police caught them quickly on Lockett Station Road.
