After waiting three days to play their AAAAA baseball finals, Colquitt County and East Coweta High Schools will have to wait one more day and play one more game to crown a state champion.
Colquitt County won game one this afternoon 3-2 and East Coweta took the second game 5-3 to force a third and deciding game Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock in Moultrie.
In game one, Colquitt County's Will Southwell drove in all three runs.
Southwell hit a two run homerun in the first and then his two out double scored Cody Turpen with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh.
In game two, East Coweta's Lee Heaberlin hit a solo homerun in the first and drove in two more runs in the bottom of the fifth with a single to lead the Indians in game two.
In other scores, Marist beats Columbus 4-1 to win AAAA state title.
Cartersville sweeps Dublin 7-4, 5-3 to win the AAA state title.
The Class-A finals start Tuesday afternoon at three o'clock in Bremen where the Blue Devils are hosting Clinch County.
