ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Monroe High's Johntavious Strum is our Albany Area Player of the Week.
Johntavious Strum said. "It is just I knew I had to do what I had to do for the team for us to win that game.
Monroe High plays Albany Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at Hugh Mills Stadium.

Dr. Jason Potocki presented Johntavious with his award Thursday at Orthopaedic Associates clinic.
Last week against Northeast Macon, Strum caught two touchdown passes, returned an interception for another score and recovered a fumble that led to another Tornado touchdown.
The senior said he had to step up his game with fellow receiver Detravious Lane out with an injury.
