Sylvester - The Hatfield's and McCoy's are most commonly known as feuding families from cartoons. But the real life families say it's time to get over their differences.
The two families plan to sign a peace treaty next week when they come together from all over the nation for a reunion.
"The two families are trying to show unity to the country now," says Brad Hatfield. "Since we have been in a war this year, they're trying to show that they can forget their past and they can show unity and back up our nation."
The reunion will take place June twelfth through fifteenth in Matewan, West Virginia.
