ALBANY, GA (WALB) – Albany Police continue in their battle to get guns out of the hands of young people, but they say it is a very frustrating fight.

The night of August 25th was one of terror for people across Albany, as guns were fired at at least three groups of people.

One man was wounded, two other groups of people had close calls with bullets. Guns in the hands of teens is a real crime issue in Albany, and Police are warning parents to check their kids to make sure they are not involved.

A week ago Thursday nearly a dozen people called the Albany 911 center to report they had been shot, or seeing people shooting at them, looking for help.
