ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Deerfield-Windsor running back/defensive back Quentin Heard is the Albany Area Player of the Week.

Quentin Heard said. "Yea we really wanted to beat them. It is a big rivalry. I think the team really got together and rallied to win."
Deerfield-Windsor hosts Stratford Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Webb Memorial Stadium.
Dr. James Mason made the presentation at Orthopaedic Associates Thursday afternoon.
Quentin scored two touchdowns and had nine tackles in the Knights season opening win over Sherwood Christian.
Quentin says it was game his team knew they had to win to start the season.
