His teammates say they have been impressed with the way Murray has handled himself during fall camp. Murray says he takes comfort with the fact the Bulldogs return everyone else on defense but admits he is going to have hard time sleeping on Friday. Aaron Murray said.
ATHENS, GA (WALB) - After four weeks of hitting their teammates, the Georgia Bulldogs are ready to play their first game of the season.The Bulldogs will open the 2001 season Saturday afternoon against Louisiana-Lafayette.
"Probably not. I will try to get as much sleep this week as possible. Try to get to bed a little earlier. I am excited. I am ready to go.Game time is 12:20 p.m. Saturday at Sanford Stadium and WALB will air the Georgia-Louisiana-Lafayette game.
Receiver Kris Durham said. "He is getting inside the huddle. He is taking command which is only what you see from a veteran. I am excited to see what he does and from the total offense what we can get out there and do."
